      <description>&lt;p&gt;I got a bee in my bonnet about building a custom theme for my microBlog site now that I&amp;rsquo;ve decided to use it more, but my ship of productivity is breaking on the rocks of Hugo, a CMS built by the worst pointdexters in human history. &lt;a href=&#34;https://github.com/gohugoio/hugo/issues/10449&#34;&gt;Won&amp;rsquo;t even permit a decent file extension for their templates&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Just let me call things &lt;code&gt;layout.go.html&lt;/code&gt; you dorks. I will have you turbo-wedgied if I read any more GitHub threads dedicated to providing the stupidest possible reasons to not do basic and sensible things.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Oh lord. I&amp;rsquo;ve just realised why. They assume once someone starts using &lt;a href=&#34;https://go.dev&#34;&gt;GoLang&lt;/a&gt; they&amp;rsquo;ll renounce all other programming languages, so filetype delineation is pointless.&lt;/p&gt;
